Transportation to Tartu
There are some flights to Tartu via Helsinki: https://tartu.tallinn-airport.ee/en/. Transportation to the city centre (10 km): Arriving at the Airport – Tartu Airport (tallinn-airport.ee).
If you fly to Tallinn you can take a bus or train to Tartu. Buses leave from Tallinn to Tartu straight from the airport or from the coach station. Tickets can be purchased online: https://www.tpilet.ee/en/. It takes about 2,5 hours. Trains are faster and the train stops near the airport (station Ülemiste). You may also fly to Riga and take a bus (Lux Express, https://luxexpress.eu/en/) straight from the airport to the Tartu coach station located in the city centre.
